Put the users new email address in, and create new profile.Ĭhange Mail to "Prompt for a profile to be used"Ĭheck everything is OK (new profile should sync with existing/old account). Go to Control Panel / Mail (or Mail (32-bit))
Once the new email address is set up and selected as primary any emails sent to the old address will automatically go to the new one (especially handy for external contacts).Īdditionally, once the user has signed in with the new username, you may need to change Outlook profile (I had to). I wouldn't delete old/existing email address.
